Ghana Publishing Company launches online bookshop for Acts of Parliament, Constitution

Ghanaians can now order Acts of Parliament, copies of the Constitution and other official publications online and have them delivered to their locations without travelling to Accra. The service follows the introduction of an online bookshop by the Ghana Publishing Company Limited (GPCL) to improve public access to government publications. Speaking at a press conference in Accra on Monday, October 19, 2026, GPCL Managing Director, Nana Kwasi Boatey, Esq., said the initiative was designed to address the difficulties people face in obtaining copies of Ghana’s laws. He explained that people living outside Accra often had to travel long distances to purchase Acts of Parliament and other publications, sometimes spending more on transportation than on the documents themselves.
