Dangote project placed under Office of the President

The Dangote project has been placed under the Office of the President to allow smooth implementation. Speaking at the launch of the Dangote Namibia Tank Farm and & Regional Pipeline project on Wednesday, president Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah said the project was placed under her office in 2025. “It will remain a presidential project until it’s completed,” said Nandi-Ndaitwah. The project includes the construction of a 1 700 kilometre fuel pipeline and a fuel storage facility on Farm 58 at Walvis Bay. The project has an estimated investment value of US$2.5 billion (approximately N$41 billion).
