JoyNews’ #NoToGalamsey campaign has been named New Media Campaign of the Year for 2025 at the 37th Annual National Marketing Performance Awards organised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG). The award was presented at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra on Saturday, October 17, 2026, in recognition of the campaign’s use of digital platforms to extend the reach of its reporting on illegal mining and its effects on water bodies and communities.
