Seven killed in Omusati road crash

Seven people were killed in a head-on collision involving a bakkie and an SUV at Elim Curve on the Okahao-Oshakati road in the Omusati region on Sunday morning. Omusati regional commander commissioner Ismael Basson confirmed the accident on Sunday. He said the accident occurred at around 04h00. “Today, at around 04h00, a report was received of a head-on collision involving a bakkie and an SUV at Elim curve. Seven people died,” Basson said. He said six occupants of the bakkie and the driver of the SUV died in the crash.
